It is essential you read the following terms and conditions before booking a workshop. Making a booking on a workshop indicates you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below. 

Terms & Conditions: Applies to all workshops 
(Note that these T&Cs only apply to our own courses. Those run on behalf of training providers such as D&TA, Osiris etc. are subject to the T&Cs of the training company)

  • The person making the booking must have the authority to do this and is responsible for ensuring the organisation and delegate complies with the terms and conditions. It is also this person’s responsibility to make sure the person attending the workshop receives all the appropriate paperwork. 
  • Once the official purchase order has been received you will be sent a booking reference and an email to confirm your booking. You will also be sent an invoice. Please note that at this point your booking becomes official and you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions listed here. 
  • Prices are advertised on the website but may be subject to change without prior notice. No price changes will be made to bookings that have already been made. 
  • Payments can be made by official purchase orders, cheque or by BACS. Some courses also give the option of paying by credit card using PayPal. Where this is available click on ‘Add to Cart’ and this opens a PayPal window. You will receive a receipt from PayPal and you will also be sent confirmation of your booking by email. 
  • Payment terms are net 30 days from the date of the invoice 
  • We reserve the right to charge interest on outstanding invoices 
  • Payments should be completed before the day of the workshop unless the booking is less than 30 days before the workshop takes place
  • A place on a workshop is not guaranteed until a payment is made or a school order received. Places can only be reserved or provisionally booked if there are plenty of spaces available and they can only be held for a limited period. If a workshop is popular and spaces are limited, reserved/provisional spaces can not be held and these places will be lost unless immediate payment is made.
  • Delegates can only transfer their booking to a different workshop at the discretion of the workshop organiser. If this will impact on the workshop originally booked on, or another workshop, in a negative way no transfer will be allowed and the cancellation terms listed below will apply. 
  • Confirmation of the workshop definitely going ahead will usually be sent at least 2 weeks before the event by email. 
  • Some workshops require a minimum number to go ahead. If only one person is booked on a workshop, and it is cost effective to go ahead, the workshop will still take place and the delegate will be contacted beforehand to make sure they are happy with this.
  • It is the responsibility of the delegate to inform us of any special dietary needs or any other special requirements that will be required on the day.
  • Courses booked for delivery at the delegates own venue are also subject to the above terms & conditions. 
  • We recommend you do not book travel tickets or accommodation, or confirm any other arrangements, until you have received the confirmation email that the workshop is going ahead. No refunds will be made for any travel, accommodation or other expenses incurred due to cancellation or venue changes.

Cancellations by us

  • We reserve the right to cancel a booking at any time and if we do we you will receive a full refund of the workshop booking fee or the opportunity to transfer to a different date. No refunds will be given for any accommodation, travel or other costs incurred by delegates due to a cancellation. 
  • Some workshops require a minimum number of bookings in order to go ahead. The final decision on courses going ahead are generally made 2 weeks before the course date. If a workshop is cancelled and the same course is running elsewhere you will be given the chance to transfer your booking. 
  • Courses booked for delivery at the delegates own venue are also subject to the above terms & conditions. 

Cancellations by the delegate

  • All cancellations by the delegate must be received in writing or by email
  • Refunds will not be made for any travel, accommodation or other expenses incurred due to a cancellation.  
  • As we specialise in running courses with small numbers of delegates any cancellation by delegates can have a significant impact on its ability to run. Venues generally also have to be booked and paid for in advance and cancellations can sometimes mean that there are big cost implications for us. This is particularly the case where there is only one delegate. This means that there can be no refunds for cancellations made up to 28 days before a course. 
  • In exceptional circumstances a delegate who has to cancel attending a course may be offered the opportunity to swap to an alternative course but this would only be if there are no cost implications to both the course being cancelled and the course being swapped to. If there are any cost implications delegates making the swap will be charged the additional costs incurred. 
  • Delegates cancelling after 28 days before the event will receive 100% of their fee refunded.  
  • Delegates wishing to cancel must inform us immediately of any issues with attending the course. 
  • A delegate may be substituted for the delegate who has been booked on the workshop at any point but we must be notified in writing of this. 
  • Courses booked for delivery at the delegates own venue are also subject to the above terms & conditions.
