What type of course do you want to book?

D&T:Connect after school pop up events - these are free but must still be booked. The booking form can be downloaded from this page.

Bursary funded courses - If a course indicates it's bursary funded it means we're delivering it on behalf of the National STEM Learning Centre rather than it being one of our independent courses. All bookings for these courses are done via the Centre itself and there will be a link on the course information page to relevant website page on the STEM Centre website. 

Our own independent courses - these are courses we run as independent consultants. These courses are booked direct with us either with a school purchase order or via our online payment system. There's more information below on how to book using each of these methods. It's essential you read the terms and conditions before booking a course. Note that provisional bookings for our independent courses can only be made where there's still lots of spaces left and places can only be held for a few days. No bookings are guaranteed until either a payment is made or a school order received. 

Booking one of our independent courses on behalf of a school?

  • It is essential the school purchase order number is completed on the form. Your school may also wish to send a school purchase order form with the booking form. 
  • Once a purchase order or purchase order number has been received an invoice will be generated and sent to the school and the delegates place on the course will be confirmed. Invoices include details on how to pay by cheque or by BACs. 
  • Schools can also book and pay for a course online by clicking on the ‘Add to Cart’ link on each course page. This opens a PayPal window which will allow payment by credit card. The school will receive a receipt from PayPal and will also be contacted by separate email with a payment and booking confirmation form. 

Paying for yourself to attend one of our independent courses?

  • The best way for delegates who are paying for themselves to book is by clicking on the ‘Add to Cart’ link on each course page. This opens a PayPal window which will allow payment by credit card. This books and pays for the course at the same time. The delegate will get a receipt from PayPal as well as a separate email from Julie Boyd with payment and booking confirmation details. All transactions are done via PayPal and no credit card or other information is shared with Julie Boyd. 
  • Payment can also be made by cheque or by BACs transfer (details provided on request). Note courses paid for by individuals are not booked until payment is received.
  •  Delegates paying for themselves should also complete the BOOKING FORM and email it to
