Fashion, Embroidery & Stitch, NEC 19th - 22nd March 2015

I am busy at the moment getting things ready for my stand at the Fashion, Embroidery and Stitch show at the NEC from 19th - 22nd March. It hardly seems 5 minutes since last year’s show; how time flies!

This will be the third show I have attended as an exhibitor and it is always a busy but enjoyable few days. My stand is sponsored by Coles Sewing Centre in Nottingham, who are the main venue I use for my courses for teachers, and as always I am grateful for their support.

This year I will be demonstrating a number of different machines and techniques, including e-textiles, as well as introducing some new project ideas.

I will be demonstrating an embellisher like the one that is the prize for my competition for 11-18 year olds. Come along and see the machine in action and get details on how to enter the competition. If you can’t attend find out more about the competition here

I will also be demonstrating how to use e-textiles components to create electronic circuits that can be added to textiles products.

Some of the e-textiles projects on the website will be on display along with new project ideas.

I will have several sewing machines on the stand including the Husqvarna Viking H Class 100, which is a fabulous machine that is ideal for both beginners, and more experienced sewers alike.

A popular addition to last year’s stand was the 3D printer and this will also be on show again this year.

I hope to see you at the show. Don’t forget that your entrance fee gets you into 3 exhibition halls as Fashion, Embroidery and Stitch and Hobbycrafts are on at the same time.
